Rogier (Naarden, 1974) studeerde af aan Academie St. Joost te Breda in 1998. Tijdens zijn eindexamen begon hij als freelance fotograaf bij de Nederlandse krant Trouw en fotografeerde hij voor een aantal televisieprogramma's. In 1998 verhuisde hij naar Utrecht waar hij zijn werk zich verder ontplooide. Hij ging werken voor diverse publieke tijdschriften, corporate magazines, reclamebureaus en diverse theaterbureaus. Gaande weg ontwikkelde hij een persoonlijke, creatieve stijl van fotografie. Een stijl die zich kenmerkt door de meestal kleurportretten, doorgaans gemaakt met bestaand licht. Zijn kennis van portretfotografie zet hij tevens in voor diverse andere fotografie, zoals voor reclame uitingen en meer redactionele artikelen.

Sinds 2008 heeft hij een inspirerende studio vlakbij het centrum van Utrecht. Dit gaf hem en zijn klanten heleboel nieuwe mogelijkheden.

En sinds 2001 is Rogier lid van de gerenommeerde fotografen beroepsvereniging GKf.

Rogier (Naarden,1974) graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Breda in 1998. During his study he started to work as a freelance photographer for the Dutch newspaper Trouw and for Dutch television. In 1998 he moved to Utrecht where his career took a next step. He started to work for several public magazines, corporate magazines, advertisement agencies and several theatrical agencies. On this journey he developed a truly personal, creative style in photography, which characterizes in, mostly colored, portraits often taken with natural light. Next to this he uses his portrait photography knowledge and experience for several other forms of photography, such as advertisement photography and more editorial expressions.

Since 2008 he owns an inspiring studio near to the center of Utrecht. This opened up lots of opportunities for him and his customers.

Since 2001, Rogier is a member of the GKf, a professional association of photographers in the Netherlands.
